Vibration Feedback Method for Interaction Support in Virtual Studio System

(in English) When interacting with the CG object in the virtual studio system, it is necessary to perform while viewing the synthesized video with the monitor, causing problems that the line of sight and acting become unnatural. Therefore, an interaction support method is investigated, on that performer wears a small vibration device at a position where it is not shot by the camera, and the vibration device informs the performer of the distance to the CG object while changing the vibration pattern according to the distance to the CG object. This experiment which informs the distance by analog vibration pattern acquires a better evaluation than the previous experiment which informs by digital vibration pattern. It is confirmed that the proposed method is effective for interaction support method in the virtual studio system by devising the vibration pattern.
