Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this study, we investigated the effect of the combination of directional light and diffused light of LED lighting on the brightness matching of fabrics and the KANSEI evaluation of scenes where objects were placed. A large cylinder was placed horizontally and the side wall surface was covered with tracing paper. The object is an achromatic fabric placed at the bottom of the cylinder. Four combinations of directional and diffused lights illuminance were used as illumination conditions. In the KANSEI evaluation, " non-glossy vs glossy ", "plain vs showy", "dark vs bright", "heavy vs light", "realistic vs fantastic", etc. The 10 adjective pairs were adopted. In lightness matching (bright), a glossy fabric is perceived as a higher brightness than a non-glossy fabric when only diffused light is used. As a result of kansei evaluation, depending on the evaluation word pairs of the fabric, there were cases where the effect of diffused light was large and the case of directional light was large depending on the presence or absence of gloss.
