Clustering Method of Driving Scene using Coupled-GP-HSMM -- Evaluation of Relationship between Road Gradient and Braking Operation --

(in English) This paper examines a clustering method for driving behavior data. Here, it is assumed that the driving scene is defined by the relationship between the surrounding situation and the operation. Then, Coupled-GP-HSMM is evaluated as a clustering method for driving situations. In the experiment, road slope data is used as situation data, and brake data is used as operation data, and scenes with a strong relationship between the two are extracted as driving scenes. Then, its effectiveness is evaluated based on actual driving environment conditions.
